Soundgarden's Chris Cornell coming to St. Petersburg

   Chris Cornell, the singer and songwriter who's best known for his work with Soundgarden, will perform an acoustic show at The Mahaffey Theater at 9 p.m.Dec. 6.

   Besides being Soundgarden's frontman, Cornell has had a healthy solo career and has been a member of the supergroups Audioslave and Temple of the Dog.
   His current tour is a series of intimate shows highlighting songs that he has written throughout his career, plus a few covers.
   Opening the show is Bhi Bhiman, a folk-rock artist who's 2012 debut album earned rave reviews.
